Uzy One, popularly known in the Capital City as “Uptown Bros” was born real name Uzoma Mbagwu on the 23rd of May in Surulere, Lagos to a family of 4. He was nicknamed “Uzy” during his high school days at Kings College Lagos.he recorded his first song in 2008 after bumping into a producer friend of his in campus, who he convinced to hand him a beat he was at the time working on. A week later, the song was recorded and received with positive response from his fellow students and artistes alike at the University Of Abuja. Mixing school with his passion for music, he broke into the scene with his first major hit, “Nnegi”, produced by the very talented Sazzy (R.I.P) became a street anthem and its still felt by good music lovers .after finishing from University of Abuja in a degree in accounting , the UniAbuja graduate went ahead to have a short stint at CBN in Abuja ,Nigeria
UzyOne is back to the spotlight with 2 sick tunes, No Need To Vex and Amen produced by ABJ #1 producer Docktor Rex which is set to drop on friday 20th of July 2012.
